Wanted to post Amazon Kindle – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Kindle 2

    I just ordered a Kindle 2, and I think I've fallen in love. Maybe no biggie for you American readers out there, but I've been waiting patiently for the Amazon Kindle to be officially released for shipping to Canada. I live almost four hours away from any major book store, and now I'll have a store in the palm of my hand with instant access to books wirelessly via whispernet and the Global network. I am beyond excited. :D

    I think my first choice would be a Barnes & Noble “Nook”, which is pretty slick, but there is no release date for Canada, and I was getting too anxious to wait.
